Oddly enough this bass is refinished white...over the ORIGINAL white finish! It's aged just enough to look like a vintage bass but man, I wish they had just left it alone in the first place. It's a wonderful bass and a great example of how a 'good' black block maple neck should feel. There is absolutely NO Fender dip above the 14th fret and the frets themselves are in excellent+ condition. Except for the reissue pickguard ALL the electronics and hardware are 100% original including the pickups, pots, bridge, tuners and of course the neck & body. The bridge pickup sounds huge and I rarely even dialed in the neck pickup in the few weeks I've been playing this bass. I won't lie; I would suggest rewinding the front pickup in order to bring this bass to the next level (I may have it done myself in the next few days). But for a bass that is this close to having all the original parts, you simply CAN'T go wrong from a player's standpoint! Includes non-original tolex case.
